The search continued until midnight on Tuesday without sign of the two missing men, and resumed again on Wednesday morning. Wisant Kotisanont, chairman of the provincial cultural council, who sponsors the Manee Saichon in the race, confirmed the search would continue. He attributed the incident to the strong current flowing down the Pasak River.
